What is your current job and how long have you been doing it for?

I’m an account director at Orchard PR and I’ve been working at the agency for five years.

What does a typical day at the office look like for you?

There is no such thing as a typical day in the office when you work in PR! I can be attending an event, organising media interviews, travelling to meet clients in Jersey and the Isle of Man or writing news releases. However, I always make time to catch up on the local and international news headlines and sneak a peek at the latest celebrity news on MailOnline – you never know when it could be of interest for a client story…

If you weren’t doing your current job what would you like to do?

A detective – I’m nosey and I think I’d be quite good at questioning suspects and examining evidence. If that didn’t pan out maybe a gin taster?

What was your first job?

I worked as a retail assistant at Checkers Express on the weekends when I was at school. My favourite job was lining up all the jars and tins on the shelves and making them all neat and tidy at the end of the day…

How long have you been involved in YBG and what have you got out of being a member?

I’ve been a member of YBG for about a year and a half. The events are great for networking and the speakers are really interesting. I always learn something, and meet someone, new.

What is your favourite thing to do in Guernsey?

Eating out. We have so many amazing restaurants; we’re spoilt for choice.

Which three people would you have at your dinner table and why?

My boyfriend Rhys – because he would do the cooking (I’m terrible!)

Michael Caine – he’s a legend and I think he’d have lots of great stories.

Adele – I love her music and she always seems so down to earth and funny in interviews.
