What is your current job and how long have you been doing it for?
I am an Advocate registered at the Court of Luxembourg and have been working as an Associate in the busy litigation department at Mourant Ozannes for 8 years.
What does a typical day at the office look like for you?
Dealing with a variety of cases and clients. My practice is pretty broad but focusses primarily on contract law, property issues and landlord and tenant matters. No matter is the same which makes the day interesting.
If you weren’t doing your current job what would you like to do?
Working for the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg, now that would be cool!
What was your first job?
A receptionist at Ibis Hotel in Strasbourg (fun times!)
How long have you been involved in YBG and what have you got out of being a member?
I have only just recently become a member of YBG. I attended the annual ball earlier this year and was impressed with the YBG’s enthusiasm and support for young businesses in Guernsey. Keep up the good work!
What is your favourite thing to do in Guernsey?
I love going for a swim at Fermain on a Sunday morning, followed by a hot cup of coffee (and maybe a piece of cake…) at the Café and then get on with my gardening “chores”…pure bliss. Alternatively cycling to the West coast on a week end and having a cup of tea at one of the kiosks while watching the sea – that is not bad either!
Which three people would you have at your dinner table and why?
Now this is very tricky…I love big tables filled with people (maybe that is why I have three children) but if I had to choose I would have Nelson Mandela (who wouldn’t), Jean Dujardin (a French Comedian/actor who by sheer coincidence is not bad looking either…) and Jean Moulin ( most famous member of the French Resistance during World War II).
