Louise Le Pelley

DIRECTOR & PRESIDENT

Louise is Senior Content Executive at allbeauty. A dual national, she studied French and German at Durham University before attaining CIM qualifications.

When not planning social strategies, copywriting or researching beauty trends, you’ll find this culture vulture on the dance floor or in the art studio painting Guernsey Pubs and Restaurants.

Rebecca Hale

DIRECTOR & vICE PRESIDENT

Rebecca is an Associate* in the Litigation department at Bedell Cristin. She was admitted to the roll of Solicitors of the Senior Courts of England and Wales in 2015 and moved to Guernsey in 2016 after working and completing her training contract at a litigation practice in the City of London. Rebecca regularly advises in all manner of commercial and chancery disputes as well as in connection with employment and regulatory matters. Rebecca is an Affiliate member of STEP and also serves on the committee for the Guernsey International Legal Association (GILA). Rebecca is a fluent Welsh speaker, having grown up in Wales. Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys running, squash and the odd cocktail!

Sarah Allisette

Social Secretary

Sarah is a marketing professional with advertising and public relations qualifications. Sarah previously worked for Locate Guernsey, a government agency created to promote Guernsey as the perfect relocation destination for HNWI and businesses.

Sarah joined YBG in 2013 and as Social Secretary organises all of our events. Sarah is a self-confessed foodie and always in the know of the best place to eat!

Sophie Bonakdar

MEMBERSHIP SECRETARY

Sophie is a Sales Consultant at Catherine Best jewellers. After studying Metalwork and Jewellery Design at Sheffield Hallam University, Sophie moved into the retail sector of Jewellery, where she has worked for 8 years now. Moving to Guernsey from Yorkshire in 2018, Sophie’s job allows her to combine her passion for jewellery with that of making connections with people.
In her spare time she enjoys cooking, sea swimming, yoga and exploring the Guernsey coastline.

Jamie Bougourd

DIRECTOR & Company secretary

Jamie is a Document Manager at HSBC. Jamie has a wide variety of work experiences and used those experiences to train a number of skills. Learning so many roles has required patience and a level head, both of which are a requirement for problem-solving.

Nicki Harrison

Director & PAST PRESIDENT

Nicki runs her own business as a local Travel Counsellor and for Offshore Electronics as an Office Administrator. She began working in travel back in 2007 but started her business in June 2017, backing it up with office work at Offshore Electronics, a local firm providing contract electronics manufacturing in 2018. She joined the YBG to make new friends and potential clients for her travel business and in her spare time enjoys teach Zumba or dancing, spending time with friends and family and walking her dog!

Lindsey Dean

Past President

Lindsey is a qualified Chartered Accountant and is a Senior Audit Manager at Collenette Jones. She has developed her own client portfolio covering various types of companies, provides accounting support in house and manages the Practical Experience Requirement Scheme for trainees within the firm.

After obtaining an honours degree in Accounting and Finance from her hometown in Brighton, she moved to Guernsey in 2003.

Nicole Bromley

Council Member

Nicole is Host of Rise & Shine Breakfast Networking Club and Owner of social media consultancy Copper, offering collaborative, simple and creative social media solutions for businesses. Having previously worked at Guernsey Chamber of Commerce as Head of Client Services, Nicole has a good understanding of YBG and brings her experience with the Chamber to the YBG Council.

Nicole has previously been responsible for YBG’s social media presence and encourages all members to follow/like us, to keep up to date with our latest news, and tag us in posts.

Sophie Emmerson

Council Member
Originally from the UK, Sophie moved to Guernsey in 1996 and has established a career in the Trust industry. In her spare time, she enjoys going for walks, meals with friends and family, reading, swimming, watching movies and listening to music. She joined the YBG to meet new people and experience different places and things to do on the island and is looking forward to supporting council with the future events.

Laura Oxburgh

Council Member

Laura graduated from the London College of Music in 2016 with a First Class Honours degree in Classical Singing (Opera). She returned to Guernsey straight after University and gained a place on the Graduate Scheme in the States of Guernsey. For the last three years, Laura has worked in the Communications Team, supporting several Committees including the Committee for Education, Sport & Culture, the Committee for the Environment & Infrastructure and the Development & Planning Authority. Over the last year, the focus has been on responding to the COVID-19 pandemic where Laura was involved in the development of the COVID-19 website and was responsible for ensuring the content is up to date. Laura has recently moved into a new role as Place Support Officer, working across the organisation to develop and implement strategies which support the Government Work Plan. In her spare time, she enjoys performing (singing and playing the flute), going to the gym, trying new things and spending time with friends and family.

Monique Search

Council Member
Monique works in a dynamic team at Oceanskies in the payroll team, doing the payroll and contracts for crew members on yachts. Outside of work she volunteer at Health Connections charity shop ‘Pre-Loved’ each week, and also loves cooking and active hobbies. She joined YBG in 2019 and found it gave her the confidence to network and meet new people – something that felt daunting before is now fun!
