What is your current job and how long have you been doing it?
I run an Ibiza clubbing website (http://ibiza2015.net) which lists all of the parties taking place during the summer and giving customers the option to buy club tickets and VIP tables. I started the website in 2011 as a hobby but since 2013 I’ve been running it full-time.
What does a typical day at the office look like for you?
It changes every day – that keeps it interesting! One day I could be developing and upgrading the website, the next I could be doing SEO / Social Media marketing and the next day I could be in Ibiza… That’s not as productive though…
If you weren’t doing your current job what would you like to do?
I’d probably like to go back into Graphic Design. I worked at Specsavers as a designer before starting IBZ.TV and really enjoyed it – so if I had never started the company I would probably still be there.
What is your role/involvement with YBG?
I first got involved with YBG when I entered and won the Bill Green Award in 2014. My first experience of a YBG event was the Summer Ball and I was hooked. I signed up at the start of this year and try to get to as many of the events as possible – it’s great to meet new likeminded people.
What is your favourite thing to do in Guernsey?
It has to be a BBQ with friends and family and a few drinks in the sun! Can’t beat it!
Which three people would you have at your dinner table and why?
- Gordon Ramsey to be the chef and entertainment;
- Gareth Emery, one of my favourite DJs for a bit of music; and
- Emma Stone to quote Superdry and talk films with!
